This weekend, the YBA 6th Grade White team participated in the “Tahoe Qualifier” at Rocklin High School. New team mate Elijah Winters joined us for his first tournament as a DAWG and scored 11 points!!!! Way to go Elijah! The players scored 44 points in their first game and won! Noah Novotny was the top scorer with 14 points. Nick Cherry contributed with 6 assists. We scored 35 points in the second game and 29 in the third game but not enough to win. Exciting basketball to watch, with lots of spectator support for the team. Each week this new team appears to jell together stronger and stronger.
