After "sleep walking" through our 9am game on Saturday and losing a game we should have won, the 8th grade Blue team recovered nicely with 2 strong wins. After beating the big and athletic Manteca Wildcats on Saturday afternoon, the guys rolled out of bed early Sunday morning for an 8am showdown with rival Del Oro. An exceptional full team effort on defense led to a great 5 point win to finish the weekend 2-1. Blake Abercrombie and Nick Howe did a great job defending former Dawg, Danny Becker, to key the victory on Sunday.
